EXTRACTION
MANUAL
Welcome to the AERO.BOX Extraction Terminal training program. Here, you will learn how to operate the high-precision crane to extract classified anomalies from the drop zone.
PHYSICAL INTERFACE
The crane operates on a 3-axis kinetic system. For commanders using standard hardware, the following overrides are active:
- TRANSLATION (X/Z AXIS) Click and drag on the screen to position the crane over your target.
- EXTRACTION (Y AXIS) Double-click anywhere on the viewing screen to deploy the claw and grab anomalies.
- OPTICS (ZOOM) SCROLL YOUR MOUSE WHEEL NOW. In this sector, your scroll wheel directly manipulates the viewport's focal length. Scrolling past the limits will warp you to the next sector.
SPATIAL UPLINK
For zero-latency operation, commanders may engage touchless Optical Tracking.
Click the Power Icon in the bottom-right HUD to activate your camera. The system will track your right hand in 3D space. Keep your hand well-lit and clearly visible to the sensor.
SPATIAL TRANSLATION
Active State: Open Hand
Keep your right hand open facing the camera. The system maps the coordinates of your Index Finger to the Crane's targeting laser.
Move your hand across the X and Z axes in the air. You will see the training crane in the background follow your finger's exact trajectory.
KINETIC PINCH
Active State: Pinch (Index + Thumb)
Once the targeting laser is locked over an anomaly, execute the drop sequence by rapidly pinching your Index Finger and Thumb together.
Hold the pinch to watch the claw descend, grab the target box, and ascend. Release the pinch to return to translation mode. Practice by grabbing a box now!
